KAM HOUSE is an independent living housing program designed to provide safe, stable, and supportive housing for individuals working to rebuild their lives.
We offer community-oriented living in a clean, structured, alcohol- and drug-free environment. Our mission is to provide dignity, stability, and a true sense of home and community for veterans, returning citizens, domestic violence survivors, and individuals experiencing homelessness.
Our history
KAM House was founded with a clear purpose: to provide safe, stable housing for individuals facing homelessness and major life transitions. Originating in Detroit, Michigan’s Virginia Park area in 2022, KAM House began with four 3-bedroom 1-bathroom homes, a total of 12 bedrooms, and a vision rooted in compassion, structure, and opportunity.
Presented by KAM Realty Group LLC, the program was built from years of hands-on experience in property management and housing, along with a deep commitment to serving those in need. KAM House operates as a supportive independent living housing program serving veterans, returning citizens, domestic violence survivors, and individuals experiencing homelessness—creating pathways toward stability, dignity, and renewed independence.
